We had our first Annual General Meeting in February thanks to everyone who came! Highlights were:
- We heard from our senior biodiversity officer David about Sutton’s plans to measure and benchmark our borough wide biodiversity. And how one day we might see cows in Poulter Park again

- Our MP Elliot Colburn updated us on progress with car parties on the industrial estate (we’re aiming for fewer not more).
- Then Gemma Mundy our Councillor told us about the recent neighborhood grant for accessible play equipment, and how the council can support us.
- We gave a quick update on all the amazing things we did together last year and our financial position (we don’t have any money but would like some and are opening a bank account in case anyone would like to give us any.)
- And last but not least, we voted on a committee for our group: Babs Guthrie (chair), Hayley White (treasurer), Krzysztof Leszkiewicz (secretary), Isobel Harris (committee member).
Big thanks to Mitcham and Carshalton rugby club for hosting us. And to David from Sutton Council, our Councillors Gemma and Paul, and MP Elliot for coming to speak to us.
