Where to see our bulbs in 2024

Yellow crocus with thin green spiky leaves among the grass in Revesby Wood

Last year from October to November we planted 3,000 bulbs in Poulter Park and Revesby Wood. We’ve made a map to help you spot them when you’re out and about.

  • There’s a mix of narcissus and golden harvest daffodils all around the park edges and in the orchard. Last year they bloomed between Feb and April.
  • Spot crocus in the orchard, by the rugby club and in a glade in Revesby Wood. These were in full bloom late Jan to early March.
  • There’s bluebells by the paths to the river and in Revesby Wood, they were shy last year so we’d love to see any photos!
  • We’ve planted 2 snowdrop carpets, one in Revesby Wood and one in between the playground and the rugby club. Look out for them from the end of January to mid February
  • We’ve planted a wildflower bed above the playground by Peterborough Road. It follows the lines of the bed that was there before, but with more flowers for our bees, butterflies and other pollinators!

If you see them around the park, do take a photo and tag us on Instagram or share them on our Facebook group.
