Green Flag for Poulter Park, Revesby Wood, St Helier + Middleton Open Spaces

Six people in a grassy outdoor orchard holding a big flag with Green Flag Award 2023/4 written on it flanked by a collie dog and a fuzzy sandy dog

Last year we were one of 11 parks in Sutton to earn a Green Flag Award. But what does it mean?

The Green Flag Award recognises well loved and used green spaces and the work that goes into maintaining them. Our judge loved:

  • Excellent diversity of ecological and wildlife features, including new native hedges and bulb planting
  • Our role as part of the ‘green corridor’, giving birds, insects and animals a safe route through Sutton and the Wandle Valley
  • Community use of the parks, from playground lovers, to rugby players, bird watchers and dog walkers, you bring our parks alive!

Help us keep the Green Flag flying

Want to get involved in caring for the park?

Join us for a woodland management day in Revesby Wood on Sunday 25 March at 10am by the Petersborough Road entrance. Or at another of our super friendly events. Everyone welcome. No experience necessary. All tools provided.
